How it works
- 1
Paste your Google review link
In your profile. Plate finds your listing and shows your rating on your menu.
- 2
Guests share their opinion
From the menu, at the end of the meal: a Google review, or a message for you alone.
- 3
You read the messages
Private messages arrive in the app, with a badge until they are read.
In detail
- Your rating on the menu
- Stars and number of reviews, updated every week. You can hide it.
- The guest chooses
- The Google review button is offered to every guest, with no filtering. That is what Google's rules require.
- Problems in private
- “Something wrong? Tell the restaurant”: the message reaches you, not the internet.
- “Did you like this menu?”
- A simple question at the bottom of the menu. You see the share of guests who say yes.
- A gentle reminder
- After a loyalty visit, the menu suggests leaving a review. Once, not on every visit.
- No guest account
- Guests create nothing and install nothing to write to you.

Frequently asked questions
Does Plate filter out negative reviews?
No. The Google review button is offered to every guest. Those who prefer to write to you privately do so by choice.
Do I need a Google listing?
To show your rating and receive Google reviews, yes. Private messages and “Did you like this menu?” work without one.
Who sees private messages?
Only you, in the app and the dashboard. They are not published anywhere.
Are reviews in the Essential plan?
Yes. Guest reviews are included in both plans.
